Carlisle House is a rehab centre for substance abuse which you need to be referred by a doctor or the hospital. The program Carlisle House last for 5-weeks and before you attend Carlisle House you’ll have to be totally clean of substance so you are sent to a separate facility for two weeks prior to attending Carlisle house. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. This place is hard to find, the entrance which is 30-40 ft north bound from Carlisle Circus round-about and it’s behind the Grace &Hope Community Centre.
I was in Carlisle house in September 2000 it saved my life I am In Recovery 19 years this September and have never looked back… I called in on the 18th June 2019 to say hello .. Still the same as I remember it, a place of safety and still the same caring staff from all those years ago understanding!! it’s not all dome and glom there is lots of humour and solidarity.
A great facility is Carlisle House for those struggling with addiction issues. Very strict but it can be life changing if your heart is in it, more places like it need to be set up in this often twisted ever changing society were lives can be ruined due to bad choices.

I’m more than happy to recommend this 5 star service. Deirdre Heaney came to my home recently and carried out an assessment on my physical needs to determine what changes/implementations would best support me. Deirdre showed thoughtfulness not only to my physical needs but also empathised with the emotional impact of my limited abilities.
Deirdre, I felt that you really listened with understanding as I explained the difficulties I am experiencing in relation to back pain while using my current chair. I am also thankful for the advice in relation to micro breaks and exercise which should help to alleviate some of the stiffness I am experiencing whilst sitting for long periods of time. I look forward to getting my new chair and will feed back to you in relation to the expected improvement in my symptoms. Many thanks for all your help. Pat.
I had a lovely experience with Deirdre, she was so pleasant professional and thorough with every detail. She was also considerate with my conditions. Would highly recommend.
