What We Offer:
Belfast Community Acupuncture is a collaboration between two professionally licensed acupuncturists in North and East Belfast. It began life in 2012 as a low-cost, multi-bed clinic and has moved to a standard one-to-one service since the pandemic. Emma and Mary are highly qualified, licensed registered practitioners, each with over ten years of clinical experience. Both bring particular areas of expertise to their individual practices. Emma is one of the most highly trained acupuncturists in Northern Ireland, having completed her 4-year licentiate and clinical internship. She focusing her research on complex persistent pain and achieving a distinction for her research dissertation and for her overall masters award. Emma is trained in both traditional Chinese acupuncture plus Western sports and trigger point acupuncture.

Emma has come to the rescue on more than one occasion and I cannot speak highly enough of her! I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with twins and suffering from lower back pain. Emma is extremely knowledgeable and you can always trust her judgement and care plan. I immediately felt the benefits after one session. Her space is very clean and has a calming ambiance which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. I wouldn’t see anyone else in Belfast regarding my acupuncture needs.
Found Emma on Google at the weekend after I had injured my back and neck. She very kindly stayed late to see me. She did a very thorough assessment and then I had a session of acupuncture and cupping. I felt the difference straight away and left much more mobile as well as a dramatic reduction in pain. One of the pleasant side effects of acupuncture is feeling relaxed so I also had a great night’s sleep. I would highly recommend her. She has a lovely personality and very knowledgeable and most importantly puts you at ease. Looking forward to going back next week.
I have had a few treatments with Emma so far and I can honestly say she is wonderful. So friendly and puts you totally at ease in the first few minutes. I found this very helpful to open up and speak about my aches and pains.

Dr. Wang is truly an amazing, knowledgeable doctor! A friend had referred me to her for sleep issues/stress, and after the first session – wow – I noticed a difference (I immediately fell asleep and slept through the whole night for the first time in ages!). With routine sessions, I noticed my stress levels become manageable and my sleeping patterns and acne improving.
For anyone looking to get better physically or mentally I highly recommend this place. I was searching for a real doctor without getting medication, she is a real doctor I’m a professional boxer and I had taking time out with depression and my body shutting down wasn’t able to train. With only 2 sessions with this place I feel better mentally and physically I did my first run today after 1 year. I will be going back regularly, to top it off she is an amazing beautiful person who cares about her customers highly recommend.
After I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, I came to Dr Wong for acupuncture treatment. After two treatments, there was a very noticeable improvement in my face. Dr. Wang is very patient and professional and I am grateful to her.

I visited Trish when I got Bells palsy having never had treatment before and was extremely nervous. She put me at ease immediately and talked me through everything. Her knowledge, experience and training is impressive and extremely interesting to hear. I purchased a bundle of treatments and results were immediate. After a few sessions I had my smile back! I would have no hesitation returning or recommending Trish. She was my calm during the storm.
