McPeakes’ doors were first opened in 1939 by my grandfather Seamus McPeake. It is now a third generation family business that has spanned over 60 years. Our home improvement center is a retailer of Johnston and Leyland paints as well as many DIY and hardware sundries. We also operate a key cutting and tool hire service for the DIY and professional alike. Our flower and balloon services were introduced to the business in 1980 and now have become as strong a brand as the home improvement center. Under the supervision of my self we provide a full range of flowers and balloons for any occasions. I was looking for air horns for a cup final for students. McPeekes didn’t have any but one of their staff was at the wholesaler and they would ring to see if she could get some. It doesn’t matter if they can’t.

Went to get fancy dress for child was in another fancy dress shop wouldnt take cash disgusted ,but McPeakes couldnt have bin nicer helpfull friendly recomment to everyone 5 star rating not enough.

Cannot rate highly enough. Having phoned late afternoon looking for something to be delivered urgently the next day, Elliotts went above and beyond to ensure it was dispatched and delivered to Dublin the next morning. Exceptional customer service. Will be my go to for all future costume etc.
About the best fancy dress place in Belfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Prices were fairly good.
