Belvoir Park Golf Club

73 Church Rd, Castlereagh, Belfast BT8 7AN, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
We at Belvoir Park Golf Club take great pride in our club house. Not only is it the first thing visitors see upon arrival, it is a tangible representation and illustration of the prestige, heritage and beauty that we at Belvoir value most about our club. It’s a rendezvous point for friends, a sunday lunch location for families, a treasured workplace for employees and much more. The club house has stood for almost a century, each time evolving and changing with the times as we as a club have done since 1927. Along with being a dining location and a meeting point before a round of golf our club house provides an executive conference room with astonishing views over the course and greater Belfast, providing local member businesses and associates a place to convene and converse. The centre has club hire available for juniors and adults so there is everything you need to take on the course.

Seriously excellent golf club. Course in great condition for October and the staff (Ciaran and the bar/food team) are a credit to the club. Pre-arrival phone calls to see if you’d like anything sorting for when you get there. Booked a taxi for us to the airport after our round, found a table for us for lunch when they were full and topped off by some of the best black-pudding ever consumed. Would absolutely rush to go back.
Lovely food, views and service. I think you can only attend if going with a member which is worth noting/checking.
What a fantastic experience. First time at Belvoir Golf Course and very impressed. Wonderful staff and the course was in excellent condition. Well worth a visit.

Balmoral Golf Club

518 Lisburn Rd, Belfast BT9 6GX, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
On the 6th March 1914, a group of men, led by Dr. G. Lyttle, met in the Lecture Hall of Malone Presbyterian Church on the corner of Balmoral Avenue and established Balmoral Golf Club. As Europe went into the turmoil of the Great War, a board of trustees acquired 75 acres on lease from Hannah and Teresa Hamill at an initial rental of £150 per annum. Subscriptions were struck at a guinea for gentlemen, half-a-guinea for ladies and ten guineas for life membership. This industrious committee set about raising funds for the development of the course by organising dances, whist drives, bridge but especially during the Great War years, income was raised from tillage. Our aim is to encourage the playing of men’s amateur golf by promoting matches at County level, Inter-Club level and on an individual basis and the staging of championships and competitions for both scratch and handicap players of all ages.

Our friends rang today what about somewhere else to try to go for a meal so we booked a table at the golf club and was really pleased with everything. The 5 of us had 3 courses. There was a good choice to suit all tastes . Staff were friendly and efficient. Top marks. We will be back. PW.

Knock Golf Club Ltd

Belfast BT16 2QX, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
Knock Golf Club has been a private members Club since its establishment in 1895. The name ” Knock” is derived from the Gaelic ” An Cnoc” and means ” The Hill”. The Club crest depicts a wood on a hill. It is thought this refers to the original Course at Cherryvalley with the mound at Shandon Park in the background. Located beside the Stormont Estate in east Belfast, Knock is a beautiful parkland golf course measuring 6,428 yards, par 70. Originally established in 1895, the course moved to the current location “Summerfield” in 1920, with leading golf course. architects, Colt, Mackenzie and Allison being instructed to design the new course layout. Always in superb condition with fast greens and beautiful fairways, the course still retains many of the original features that were imagined all those years ago. You are now more likely to connect with this crest when climbing the hill at the first or seventh holes.

Good course with some tricky holes to concentrate the mind. Food is well served with an outdoor shelter to enjoy a drink. Another nice round at Knock…the greens are improving.. Played 18 a few weeks ago and while the greens are still being worked on as they could be in better condition for a club like Knock.
Food exceptional atmosphere great.
Husband a member he loves the course.
