Clive Esdale started C. Esdale & Sons Removals in 1969 with a small lorry and has been a family orientated business since its conception. Our idea of a great removal experience is trust and a passion to go above and beyond. We work hard to keep Local, Cross border and Cross channel customers enjoying their removal experience. Although Clive decided to try and retire, he never fully stepped back from the business. He passed the business to his family and we still run it with the same principles that it started with 50 years ago. We have been a carrier for John Ross and Co. As first time buyers, with no experience of removals companies, we didn’t really know who to trust. On contacting C. Esdale & Sons, Neil was promptly in touch for a quick recce and any questions we had thereafter where swiftly answered (very good communication). On moving day, the whole team were very friendly and made the whole process stress free. Efficient and professional, nothing was too much trouble – they definitely went out of their way to take extra care with a few of our items – much appreciated.
Neil and his family run business were amazing – very professional throughout the whole process. Even when we had to cancel last minute due to solicitor issues Neil was very understanding and was happy to help us with our rearrangements. He turned up on perfectly on time and was incredibly careful with all our furniture. Honestly couldn’t recommend more – the whole process was completely stress free.

Contacted Johnny a couple of weeks before our move (Belfast-Belfast) and he slotted us in with no issues. Got our keys a few days earlier than expected and even though they were booked that day, Johnny managed to squeeze us in. His customer service was excellent throughout.
John and his team were amazing. The boys were very hard workers that were able to take apart all furniture and build again very quickly on arrival at new house. The boys were careful with all our furniture and belongings. I am very grateful to John as our move date changed and he was able to let me keep my deposit and move to the next day and fit me in around other jobs at very short notice. I found this company to be the most reasonably priced and did not take advantage of the booming property market by upping there prices as others did. Great company all round.
I’d never used a removal company before but I’ve been ill and my husband and I needed a hand. Speaking to John left me feeling reassured.

We used In One Piece for a house move last week and the guys were absolutely fantastic. Very professional, friendly and hard working. Like many have said, they took great care and attention in loading and unloading, and we could not have asked for anything more from them. Much of the stress was removed from how they operated and I would definitely recommend and use again in the future.
Great experience with moving furniture. Usually I try to do things myself because I get really stressed with my stuff. Decided to use one piece removals because of some big furniture and a great quote. All furniture was transported with care and timely. I would definitely use them again.
The 3 guys did a house removal yesterday. They were outstanding, I would recommend them to anybody. Very professional, friendly and hard workers. They made sure they were careful with the furniture and no task was too much. Great job! Jennifer and Jamie.
