I enjoyed a great gig. The sound system was great and the stage was large enough for the bands to fully express themselves.
Brilliant live venue, super friendly staff.
Great venue, friendly staff with lots of music history in one place. Seating area for cafe is appreciated and the sound stage area is loud enough for the gig goers to get the experience but not isolating those who are at the cafe area and want to chat but not have to yell.

The Deer's Head

1-3 Lower Garfield St, Belfast BT1 1FP, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
Following the industrial revolution however, the Guinness family had the vision to invest heavily and brewing became focused in Dublin. Sadly, this meant that many Belfast breweries disappeared. Today, we’re passionate about reviving the old Brewery Quarter in Belfast. The Deer’s Head was founded by Wine & Spirit Merchant, John Donnelly, in 1885. At that time, there were 12 pubs and 4 spirit dealers operating on this street. Today, only The Deer’s Head remains. We are the first historic pub in Belfast to be brought back to its original name. The building itself is steeped in tradition – take a walk around and explore its original features and nods to history, whilst enjoying a pint of Bell’s Brewery beer. With a fully operational on-site brewery in the middle of the bar, we are the first brewpub in Belfast. Bell’s Brewery has its own rich Belfast history.

Great pub with lots of beer on tap. They even had their own little distillery. There was a plum cider that was enjoyed by our group. The IPA was also excellent. There was plenty of seating. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and have time.
Fantastic traditional Victorian pub with its own microbrewery. Great selection of their own brews plus an array of craft beers from NI breweries and beyond. Beautiful interior with loads of attention to detail. First class service. Can’t wait to come back.
Traditional pub with craft-beer twist. You can get tasting beer flight with 3 x 1/3 pint of their beer that they brew next door for taste. There’s also the hot wings that is made with their IPA BBQ source that is finger licking good. In the winter time there’s Irish coffee and we had the Neils signature one which is one of the top 3 Irish coffee that I ever had.

Quiet on a Saturday afternoon but filled up after 6pm. Table service was being provided in the afternoon. Not sure if they do food. Toilets are unisex which I’m not a fan of in a pub as they’re usually not very clean later on at night.
Great venue for intimate music events where you can focus in on the music. Good seating with a bar area to the side.
Great bar, basic setup but very enjoyable. The bouncer was especially outside when I was vaping. Full of chat. Highly recommended.
