Took my nervous, border collie for the full treatment, she was gorgeous when she was finished, her coat was silky smooth & she smelt lovely for days.
I brought Trixie, our wee 9 month old Yorkie, here today for the first time. Chris was brilliant at finding out exactly in what style we wanted her cut. The place has a great vibe and Trixie enjoyed herself. The quality of service is excellent, price very reasonable and the team are friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be regulars from now on and I’d thoroughly recommend Ruff Cuts to anyone.
Our Willow is a bit of a nut and can be quite difficult to brush. She has been to Ruff Cuts 3 times and always looks amazing. I have had previous groomers that have failed to deliver but Ruff Cuts always gets it right. Best groomers I know and would highly recommend. We took Earl for his first ever groom back in March. Rachel and Alison were very accommodating and knowledgeable about Earl’s breed. They were very reassuring with Earl, he’s a very anxious dog and they made him feel at ease.

Christina Jones LCGI, is the proprietor of Dashin’ Hounds in Dundonald. After acquiring a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier called Ella, Christina had trouble finding a groomer who could handle such a specialised breed and decided to complete a dog grooming course herself. Christina has 23 years experience and holds a L.C.G.I. in dog grooming, an Advanced City and Guilds 7750 in grooming and has almost completed her Higher National diploma in Dog Grooming. Christina is passionate about learning new skills and techniques to enhance standards throughout the business and as such has attended many seminars and workshops across the UK. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for your dog. All grooming tools, crates and equipment are disinfected and sterilised after every dog.

Excellent grooming service that came highly recommended to me and now I highly recommend them to you! Our dogs are a little nervous – but not at Dashin’ Hounds where they are at ease. They come back looking just wonderful and smell even better. Great service and fair price.
Left my friends dog in today, Joey, she had been in a lot of discomfort due to a build up of hair and it was making her itch, I was worried about her and Dashin’ Hounds very kindly squeezed in an appt for me, which I appreciate so much as I know they’re very busy. Well I have just collected Joey and she looks like a new dog! She is beyond gorgeous and she’s not itching now, they got so much hair off of her and she is a lot more comfortable and happy. The prices are beyond reasonable and I wouldn’t take Joey anywhere else. I’m one very happy, satisfied customer.
Did a great job grooming our Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, Hector, who is a very full on kind of fellow! Did his head particularly well which is an area many other groomers we have used in the past have got wrong. Well worth the trip down to Belfast from Ballycastle.
